Housing Units: In August 2024, the Ministry of Human Settlements and Development (MHSD) awarded 50 housing units in Barangay Doh-Tong, marking the first such ceremony in Tawi-Tawi. This initiative is part of the “Construction of 50 Units Resettlement Housing Project with Land Development,” funded by the Special Development Fund 2020.
Mat-Weaving-Inspired Seaport: A Php50 million seaport, inspired by Tawi-Tawi’s mat-weaving tradition, is nearing completion. This project aims to boost tourism and improve transportation services for both residents and visitors.
